Jesse James Miller
DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Vancouver, Jesse is a multi-award winning Writer/Director who has worked on both sides of the border over the past decade in fiction and non-fiction.
Jesse recently finished Writing and Directing his Feature Film BECOMING REDWOOD as well as the Feature Documentary THE GOOD SON, starring Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini. Recently Jesse Wrote and Directed the award winning documentary film MY AMERICAN EXODUS (VIFF, OIFF, DOC CITY DOCFEST) and was nominated as Best Director for the critically acclaimed Feature Documentary UGANDA RISING (Discovery Times). He directed the feature film THE SEAMSTRESS (Lance Hendriksen), helmed the pilot presentation piece CAPTAIN STARSHIP (Paul McGillion) and is currently directing commercials for LANCASTER VINTAGE.
As an editor Jesse cut the Academy Award short-listed feature documentary FACING ALI (Lionsgate-Spike) as well as multiple feature films, documentaries and television shows.
